About
About Us
The Boise Forest Coalition (BFC) was formed in September 2010, bringing together diverse interests to craft recommendations for a multi-faceted forest project in the Boise National Forest. The citizen-led group is open to anyone with an interest in Boise National Forest management.
The Boise National Forest retains jurisdiction on all decisions related to the National Environmental Policy Act requirements. Any project proposals resulting from the BFC recommendations are open for review from any member of the public, through the NEPA process. Notes are available from all BFC meetings.
Members of the BFC Steering Committee are:
Art Beal | Squaw Creek Soil Conservation District |
John Robison | Idaho Conservation League |
Morris Huffman | Private Citizen |
John Roberts | Society of American Foresters |
Rachel Vandenburg | Woodgrain |
